Gave this place a try in search of our next Football Sunday home for the coming fall. There are a lot of TVs here but they are all kind of small. We were only in the bar so maybe there was a larger TV in the main dining room? We came to specifically check out the Bloody Mary bar and it was disappointing. The TNT brand mix was really tasty, perfect amount of spice and already enough worcestershire without needing to add more from the bar. Also, had Clamato, A1 and celery salt available. The garnishes needed help. First there were no tongs to get anything out of the canisters and then no tooth picks to put the garnishes on in the glass! Nice to know all the patrons were just sticking their fingers in all the containers! :( There were only pickles, tiny green olives, celery, pepperoni and banana peppers which is the basics but not what I imagine for a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. The baked wings were outstanding and what saved our trip and this review score. Wow, perfectly cooked, super hot temp and really tasty charred on sauce! The Sweetfire is a little hotter than a medium but had great unique flavor. Also tried an order of the regular, bone-in Siracha Sweet & Spicy wings that were disappointing. Seemed undercooked with soft skin and the sauce was extremely sweet. One of the wings even looked a little pink so I didn't try any other flavors in the fried wings and the baked only come in mild, medium and sweetfire. The pizza was also underdone with a TON of cheese that was melted but not browned at all. It was good but the crust was an actual cracker which is thinner than I like my thin crust. I prefer a bit of chew and not just the crust shattering between your teeth. An inch of cheese on a cracker isn't my idea of amazing pizza. Our server was great, came by plenty of times for refills and more food orders!

We arrived here around 9:30 on April 11, 2015. We took our seats, and were waited on fairly quickly. A friend and I ordered beers, the ladies ordered some cocktail things from their cocktail menu. The drinks arrived a few minutes later. I got a guinness, which came in a smaller glass than the other beers on tap. It was the exact size of a bottle, which leads me to believe it is not on tap. She came back a few minutes later to take our food orders. We got a few burgers, a beef sandwich, and 2 apps between us 4. The waitress stopped back once more for drink refills before bringing us food. The food was all warm and pretty good. Their coleslaw comes with the burgers, but it is not too good. It is a bit watery and odd tasting for my taste. The waitress came back to check on us a few more times before we left, asking if we needed anything else. She did not take our empty plates until after we left, but she did have a broken/sprained wrist, so I can understand that. The music must have been on a jukebox, as the songs were jumping around. They do have a large variety of songs on the box, since it jumped genres quite frequently. My favorite was the jump from some rap song to some early 80's music. The bar also has a bunch of TV's, a dartboard and a golf video game The bartender looked a bit young to be at a bar, let alone serving at one. There were many underage kids there, although not drinking. For about half our time at the bar, there was a small child (~7 years old or so) there hanging out with his father. Not a crime, but it doesn't seem like a place to let kids hang out, with a parent or not. Overall, the food was good, atmosphere was pretty good, service was over par for a local bar. -------------------------------- Service - 4/5 Food Quality- 5/5 Serving Size - 4/5 Speediness - 4/5 Atmosphere - 3/5 Overall: 4/5 Suggestions for Management: Keep a closer eye on your guests. Underagers, especially children, in you bar is a recipe for disaster. Also, all of your draft beers should be served in with the same size. No reason a draft guinness should provide less beer, with a higher price than a blue moon.

Best pizza in peoria area by far, if you like thin crust. We usually eat in the bar as it is a better experience than the dining room, unless you want to talk. Expect a many tv type sports bar. This was previously The Penguin Tap, until the owner retired. It had a better pizza, the best I have every had. Although Tnt claims to follow the old recipe they don't fully follow it just the crust part of the recipe which is great. Too expensive but I will pay it occasionally.

Service was solid - prompt and friendly - on a recent Saturday. Beer was cold and priced reasonably. The pizza was good, although pricey but in line with oddly high pizza prices in Peoria.

Interesting...we ordered 2 pizzas. One order was correct, the other wasnt. They took the incorrect pizza back. And we are still waiting. In the meantime, we watched all of the wait staff at a table eating the pizza. In another corner of the restaurant, someone is at a table filling Cole slaw cups...without gloves on. Oh pizza just arrived...it is burnt. And did I mention, no one apologized for the error and made us feel like it was our fault?

We eat here about once a month, usually ordering pizza. Tonight I ordered walleye and it was way over cooked. There were 2 pieces so I asked for one piece to be replaced. The cook said I had eaten to much and refused to replace it. I think the owner is giving way to much power to the cook. The waitresses said she was sorry, but nothing she could do about it. To bad; they lost a good repeat customer over a piece of fish. Repeat customers are hard to get, easy to keep with a little service. They lost me and my family.

For an appetizer i had to get my pound of wings. The mild sauce is perfect with just a small amount of tangy heat. I ordered the ribeye sandwich with added sauted mushrooms on top for $.75...everything comes with a price but owe does it add to the sandwich. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and it was juicy and tender with a taste of even being grilled outside. The ff were crisp and the slaw very good. My friend ordered the chicken strips which seemed homemade because of the crunchy and perfectly seasoned crust. He substituted onion rings instead of ff which did cost a little on the side. The onion rings were not greasy and were crunchy. If you like onion straws you will like their homemade onion rings! Only complaint is 2 fountain cokes with unlimited refills cost $5! The service is wonderful here and it is a clean environment with many tv's to watch. They even have a food special when the Cubbies are on if you are into baseball. Btw...Go Cubs...this is the year lol yeah right

For a sports bar meets all your needs. Good service, good food, lots of tv's. Try the tenderloin and the French dip.

Good tenderloin. They've kept the old Penguin Tap pizza. Standard pub fare
